Hiking in Lapland

Our holiday in Lapland has started in good weather. The temperature is almost 20 degrees and cooling wind is blowing from the fells.

Today our destination was Keimiötunturi, two hours hike to the top. We packed our lunch, some coffee for humans and water for dogs into a rucksack and started climbing. The route was not easy but it wasn't too hard either. The dogs were unleashed and we let them determine the pace.

It really was beautiful up there. We stayed on the top half an hour enjoying the peaceful magic of Lapland. I believe the dogs loved it too.

Up we go

Cooling snow

We reached the top after two hours and one minute :)

Anki conquered her own rock.

Feels like flying

Reindeer poo on the track.

Käpy rolling. I hope it is not something that smells bad.. :(

Returning by the same route.
